JASNC Speaker’s Series in Greensboro

New Voices from Japan

Join us for the Japan-America Society of North Carolina's Speaker’s Series. We are honored to present one our Speaker’s Series to you with our presenters.  The event will be hosted by JASNC and generously supported in part by Social Science Research Council and Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, UNCG. Light snack will be served.

Our presenters are Dr. Setsuya Fukuda, a social demographer and full-time researcher at the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research and Dr. Ryo Sahashi, Associate Professor of International Politics and Faculty of Law, Kanagawa University, who specializes in international politics and is currently focusing on East Asian security as well as Japanese security policy.  

 

UNC Greensboro: Lunch/Registration will commence at 11:30 am with the presentation starting promptly at 12:30 pm. The Presentation will conclude at 2:30 pm. 

NOTES:

  • Registration should be made in advance.  Seating is limited, so please reserve early. 

    • The RSVP for the program for JASNC members and UNCG Faculty and Graduate students is by Thursday, August 31st.  

    • The RSVP registration for undergraduate and anyone starts from 9/1 - 9/12. 

  • Parking:. Pre-registered guests will be provided a permit parking space at UNCG Oakland
