Join us for the Japan-America Society of North Carolina Speakers Series Program in Charlotte.  We are honored to have Professor Shujiro Urata, Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University. This event is hosted by the Japan-America Society of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Generously supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Professor Urata received a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.  His specialty is International Economics and Development Economics.   He worked at the Brookings Institution as Research Associate, Economist at the World Bank.  He has been Professor at the Waseda University since 1994. 

City Center Campus, UNC Charlotte: Registration will commence at 3:00 pm with the presentation starting promptly at 3:30 pm. The Presentation will conclude at 5:00 pm.
