Hi my name is Tiaishia (Tia) and I am from North Carolina. In addition to my work on educational initiatives, I currently tutor Japanese families and support cross-cultural learning. I am passionate about faith, art, creative event planning, and mentoring.
I am so excited about winning tickets to Japan. I am looking forward to visiting my friend Chiho, who I have not seen in over 10 years, and seeing her daughter in person for the first time! I truly appreciate everything JASNC does to bridge cultural exchange between North Carolina and Japan, and I’m grateful to be part of such a vibrant community. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year!
